- Tristan & Isolde - Don't bother.
- Underworld: Evolution - DB
- The Pink Panther - DB
- Failure to Launch - DB
- Thank You for Smoking - Just okay, but it introduced me to Christopher Buckley's fiction, which I recommend.
- V For Vendetta - Failed to live up to the hype.
- L'Enfant - An excellent French film.
- Brick - Pretty good. Done in the style of film noir.
- Ice Age: The Meltdown -DB
- Friends With Money - I thought it was a pretty decent and thought-provoking film. It also features one of my favorite movie scenes ever where Jennifer Aniston goes around to lots of makeup counters asking for free samples of a face cream.
- Lucky Number Slevin - Eh.
- Hard Candy - Really intense. Excellent, and beautifully shot.
- Kinky Boots - I really wanted to like this British comedy, but it fell short of my expectations.
- The Notorious Bettie Page - Again, fell short of my expectations.
- American Dreamz - DB
- Stick It - DB
- United 93 - Very powerful film.
- Art School Confidential - I thought it was pretty cute and funny.
- Mission: Impossible III - DB
- Poseidon - DB
- The Da Vinci Code - Not terrible, but the book was better. And the book wasn't that great to begin with.
- An Inconvenient Truth - Very important film.
- X-Men: The Last Stand -DB
- The Break-Up - DB
- A Prairie Home Companion -DB
- The Lake House - DB
- Wordplay - A really interesting documentary on The New York Times crossword puzzle.
- Click - DB
- Superman Returns - DB
- The Devil Wears Prada - I'm a fashion geek, so I loved this movie. Meryl Streep gives an excellent performance, and the wardrobe, done by Patricia Field, is to die for.
- Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - Damn, I was so disappointed in this movie.
- You Me and Dupree -DB
- Lady in the Water - I've liked most of his other movies, so I don't know what happened with this one.
- Little Miss Sunshine - Very cute. I loved it.
- John Tucker Must Die - DB
- Talledega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby -DB
- World Trade Center - Just okay.
- Accepted - DB
- Sherrybaby - Maggie Gyllenhaal gives a great performance.
- The Science of Sleep - Not as great as The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but still pretty cute.
- School for Scoundrels - DB
- The Queen - It's a pretty good movie.
- The Departed - Very nicely done by Martin Scorsese. Glad he finally got his Oscar.
- Employee of the Month - DB
- Marie Antoinette - Visually, this movie was amazing; the plot was lacking however. Still well done by Sofia Coppola.
- The Prestige - Eh.
- Running With Scissors - Disappointing.
- Babel - This movie tried to be Crash but failed.
- Shut Up & Sing - An excellent documentary on the Dixie Chicks.
- Borat - Pretty funny, but not worth seeing more than once.
- Volver - Penelope Cruz is amazing.
- Stranger Than Fiction - The one and only Will Ferrell movie I have ever enjoyed. Maggie Gyllenhaal is also fantastic in this.
- Bobby - Eh.
- Casino Royale - I had my reservations about this movie, but Daniel Craig is fantastic. Definitely looking forward to more Bond films from him.
- Blood Diamond - Nicely done.
- The Holiday - DB
- Dreamgirls - Horrible. Jennifer Hudson was fine, but someone please tell Beyonce she can't act.
- The Pursuit of Happyness - Eh.
- Children of Men - Eh.
- Factory Girl - I actially really enjoyed this one. Sienna Miller gives a great performance.
- Pan's Labyrinth - Another excellent foreign film.
