Notes:

Its Feb now Dave, what is its going to hold for you?
Oh Joanna Newsom...the more I listen to that album, te more I am convinced it is one of the best I've ever heard.
She is an excellent songwriter. But, I'm not sure this album will stand the test of time as a whole. I love her voice and her harp. It's surreal.
Ive got Pavemetns Early stuff, whats Wowee Zowee like compared too them?
Wowee Zowee is the follow up to Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain. It's star is the assortment of the music, as opposed to Malkmus, who steals the show on CRCR. I read somewhere that the intention for Wowee was to create an album that was meant to be put on shuffle. It really has no flow b/c of this, but Pavement really gets away with this well.
There are no huge standouts like on CRCR, either. Bottom line, If you like original indie rock , I would get this no doubt.
Tony's Theme!
It's a song about a superhero named Tony, ya know...
Shalom, y'all!
L. Bangs
I had a stupid question here initially. Now I just wish to agree with you on Surfer Rosa. Great album.
Hearing very varied reviews about Becks new one, A- eh? worth the buy?
Yeah, it's kind of bland for Beck, but, it's an A- compared to alot of artists.
whats with the asterics -----> *
That's supposed to be a star- meaning it's burned.
The first two songs on that Bravery CD are good the reast are boring and they suck
All the songs on Let It Be are good, especially the first two.
Which Let It Be?
i agree bloc party sucks other than that serious ass kicking rythmn section
Wait...why did Bloc Party get a 9.2 if it's mediocre?
Though I happen to agree that they're not the next big thing that everyone has declared them to be, I'm a little confused about the ratings system.
Perhaps I rated it too high, but the drummer really shines, so yeah I do admire the album.
The rating system is outta 10.
What does bold denote? Favorite album(s) of that month, or something?
Wow, you are in love with... lemme count... all but one album you've collected this year. How can you be so accurate in your aquisitions?
I pretty much know what I'm getting myself into when I purchase the album - and alot of times I post the rating when I'm really into that particular disc. I think I'm going to edit (all) the ratings at the end of 2005.
