- Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - **** I saw this on TV about a year ago, and I still remember it really well. What impressed me about it was how much like the old Shaw Brothers movies it was. I believe that the star of "Come Drink With Me" and "Golden Swallow" appeared in this.
- Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring - **** What can I say? This is probably the best action/adventure movie, along side "The Matrix", of the the past 25 years. Fabulous.
- Songs From the Second Floor - **** This is probably one of the darkest comedys ever made. It doesn't really have a plot, but you just get these really weird little skits where men and women wearing business suits act morbidly insane. In this crazy world that Roy Anderson ha created, the entire city is in a never ending traffic jam, and small girls in white nightgowns are blindfolded and thrown off cliffs while smiling dignitaries watch.
