I'm not sure what year you would include it in, but are you not a fan of Neutral Milk Hotel's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea? It has steadily risen on my (for now, hypothetical) list of the best albums of the 90's...fantastic album.

You know, that's one album I haven't been able to get my hands on. I've never seen it at my local indie shop, and they keep a pretty cool selection. Of course I never remember it when I'm ordering something online.

Actually, since I'm thinking about it now, I'll go ahead and order it.

Heh. As I was scanning the list my first reaction was... what about Aeroplane? Because that album is the greatest.
