I recently watched Of Human Bondage and found it quite interesting. Bette Davis's lower-class English accent doesn't always convince, but otherwise her acting is remarkably good. Her reaction in the scene in which Leslie Howard tells her she has a terminal lung disease is totally real and very moving. Some fascinating directorial flourishes too.
I just felt uncomfortable watching it (I dislike Leslie Howard, it's a whole "Petrified Forest" in my youth thing) along with the smarmy story. Good points though, just not for me.
