- Note: I didn't include Air, Kraftwerk, Bjork, Massive Attack, Stereolab, Broadcast and other (excellent) artists of this ilk because these guys, to me, just seem to have melodic pop as their ultimate goal and just happen to incorporate electronic elements to achieve that goal.
- The artists on this list, in contrast, are more "hardcore" electronic. They care more about making beats, mixing records, and painting with abstract sounds than in achieving some sort of analog synth-fueled pop perfection.








An awesome idea for a list, and especially beneficial to someone like me, but could you perhaps pick out 10 SONGS I should try, or one song from each album here, or something?
Maybe I'll do that - some from each genre. It seems to be my skill around here...
and a much needed and much appreciated skill, too!!!
