This list contains 100 songs which I deemed the best from the billoard top 100 list, from the years 1974-2003 (that is from the year when disco started to be popular to the year when I finished listning to pop(ular) music, from that time I turn to EDM).

The list was generated from another (my) list top 20 of billboard top 100 from years 1974-2003, which was created due to the fact that billboard top 100 somewhat sucks (if it was british/german top 100, I would have to go with at least top 40). From each year I've selected from 3-5+ songs and then ordered them.

As making the list is maybe not difficult but very volatile process (each time I would make that list it would be a little bit different), the song position will have some error which would probably be 1-2 * sqrt(position), which means that the song at the number 64 is somewhat placed between 56 and 72 (for 90% of lists which I would make)

Please note that this is taken from billboard which has its own pecularities, for intance this list was based mainly on singles ordering, thus the rock songs aren't quite well represented (rock music is more based on selling albums)
