  1. Wohooo, first list ever. I used to be a trancehead, but I'm listening to techno, minimal and some other genres too for about 2 years. Why? Latest trance (2006-today) disappoints me. There're still good tracks (Leon Bolier - Ocean Drive Boulevard for example), but not the same amount and quality as in the nineties and around 2000-2004.

Some suggestions:
- Aphex Twin - Xtal (one of my personal favourites)
- Aphex Twin - Digeridoo (a monster acid techno song. Could also be seen as trance.)
- Ben Sims - Tribe
- Cybotron - Clear
- Peyote - Alcatraz (call it repetitive, it's still one of my favourites. The same people from Dance 2 Trance.)
- Speedy J - The Orbit
- Carl Craig - Dreamland
- CJ Bolland - Camargue
- Soofle - How Do You Plead

It's a pity you don't want minimal techno on your list (although I think Timeless Altitude is minimal), I think that's the greatest subgenre of techno, followed by Detroit techno and Swedish techno.
