10 most overrated movies

I strongly disagree with Pulp fiction, Resevoir dogs and blade runner. But i still like controversial lists.

I don't agree with a few choices, but I surely agree with Pirates. While I did like the movie, every critic and friend of mine said "this movie is great!" It's not great, it's good. I don't find American Pie that funny any more either.

YES,johnny depp was ok in pirates but its not his best role by far.

I have to strongly disagree with Reservoir Dogs, The Virgin Suicides and Ghost World. I agree with Castaway and Gone with the Wind though. As for Pirates, while it wasn't great, I have to say that for what I was expecting when I walked into the theatre, which wasn't much, I was very pleasantly surprised. And for me that can sometimes be the best kind of movie.

I'm curious as to why you find "White" overrated. I'm a huge fan of the "Trois Couleurs" trilogy, but I do find "White" to be the weakest of the three.

The problem I had with "Cast Away" was its' weak begining and extraordinarily weak ending. Tom Hanks had me captivated as the cast away, but once he was rescued, I could have cared less.

I agree, both of those movies were extremely weak with little or no character development.White lacked the sparkle the other two films had.

Oh my god, Pulp Fiction was awesome. I mean, The Gimp?!?!?! Come on ... mind-blowing.

Most overrated? Citizen Kane ... what a sucky movie!
