Perhaps Listologists should pay more attention to Jarmusch and Cassavetes and less to Speilberg and Jackson, but I find Jarmusch and Cassavetes to be pretty well represented around here for their popularity. Far better represented than even, say, Ansel Adams.
I'm not sure whether it'd be good to care less about Spielberg or Jackson (especially since their most recent works are IMO pretty good), but I greatly prefer Jarmusch and Cassavetes too. Moreover, Cassavetes is a director you can never pay enough attention to. Same for Jarmusch. Or Lynch. And I'll have a look at Ansel Adams.
