- Aphex Twin "Selected Ambient Works 85-92"
- My best friend walked in as "Green Calx" had started. Sat down on the couch and gave me a funny look. "Why are you listening to this, is this music?"
- Autechre "Tri Repetae"
- My neighbor heard it over the fence as I blasted it on a ghetto blaster. He shouted over the music "Turn that **** off. That **** isn't music."
- Gang Of Four "Entertainment"
- I played this for a group of young people (14-17). One young man looked at me sternly and said "Is that music?" "Is said yes" and relayed the fact that they were a punk band. He then left my company quickly.
- Lightning Bolt "Wonderful Rainbow"
- The first time I played this I was with my sister and a friend. They thought my stereo was breaking down.
- My Bloody Valentine "Loveless"
- A client of mine said to me "What is that? It sounds like your speakers are broken."
- Sun Ra "The Heliocentric World Of Sun Ra"
- My best friend thought that I was trying to trick him when I played this.
- Cecil Taylor "Unit Structures"
- I was listening to this album on headphones. I went into a store to buy some clothing. The clerk at the counter asked me "What are you listening to?" I said "You probably wouldn't like it." She really wanted to hear so I let her listen. She listened for about 5 seconds, twisted her face and said "That isn't music is it?"
- Talking Heads "Remain In Light"
- I think my friend was joking, but he asked anyway. This album really isn't that strange.
- Vangelis "Blade Runner Soundtrack"
- My best friends brother came to my house to borrow DVD's. He walked in the door, stopped, and said "What is that? Are you listening to music?"
- Frank Zappa "We're Only In It For The Money"
- Right in the middle of "What's the uggliest part of your body" a client walked in. Such is life, I had heard it again...

I have since heard this another time, while listening to KLF-Chill Out. Share your experiences with this.
