- Donnie Darko (2001) - I'm still not sure what to think of this yet. I know I definitely don't understand all parts of it after only one viewing, and I really want to watch it again to see what else I can get from it now. Jake Gyllenhall is so very cute, but not so much when he does that thing with his eyes when he's seeing Frank. Even though the movie left me wanting more, I liked what was there and I'll probably watch it again sometime.
- Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) - I really liked the movie, but I came out of it with a huge headache. I'm not sure if it was the movie or not - my roommate seems to think it may have been the lighting in the movie, but I don't know. I felt sick after seeing Moulin Rouge! too, so maybe I should try to avoid odd lighting. Anyway, getting back to the point... I liked the movie and Sam Rockwell was really great in it.
- Y Tu Mamá También (2001) - I really think the acting in this movie was incredible. Actually, a lot of the movie was incredible. The story and the way it was shot made it seem so (I want to say simple, but I don't think it was) honest. Although Spoiler: Highlight to viewit really disgusts me when supposedly intelligent college students see two boys kissing and groan / moan in disgust. What the hell? I mean, come on. Grow up already.
- The Princess Bride (1987) - Every Friday night people watch a movie together in the lounge of my dorm. I tried to watch one before, but the person had downloaded the movie from the internet and the sound was really bad, so it was hard to watch. Anyway, there was a record turnout to watch this. I have never seen that many people in the lounge before. I love this movie. It's hilarious and has a great story, and it's one of those movies I could see a million times and not get sick of it.

Mmmmm, Y Tu Mama Tambien is a great film, no? It's on my top fourteen for 2002. Just for the record, I didn't groan.
Trust me, I wouldn't expect that you would. You know I respect you to much to think that...
Maybe the editing of Moulin Rouge! made you sick.
