New year, new films...

Wait for video for Dot The I, saw it last year, and i want half my money back.

THe Best of youth have been showing here on Latin Cinemax for the last few months, i didn't know that was the title, until i saw that it was released on the states, will do my best to catch it.

Yeah, reviews have led me to believe it's a video pick. I'll probably hate it. But I have to find out for myself, no?

Yeah you should see it, but like i say wait for video, it has some scenes worth watching, and a good performance by Gael Garcia, speaking a perfect english accent.

nevermind... you've seen it.

Ferpect Crime is pretty cool, i downloaded it since i thought it would never be released here, it was in theathers a month a half ago.

Well, you know how I feel about de la Iglesia...

that he is a dissapointing but interesting filmmaker?

Actually, no... I really like his work (most of it, anyway).

I remember you were dissapointed by Day of the beast, and you didn't like Dying of laughter, but really liked Commonwealth, don't know your opinion of 800 bullets or Accion Mutante.

I liked "Day of the Beast", actually. I think I was expecting it to be better, but I still liked it. "Accion Mutante" is pretty cool too, even if it does kinda fall apart in its final third. Still haven't seen "800 Bullets", but it's in my Netflix queue.

I like Day of the Beast the best, its just too funny, even if its climax is a mess, Accion Mutante was more interesting than good, it really fell apart, but i'm glad i watch it, what i love about Iglesias is his dark humor and his awesome camera moves, and that movie has it in spades, but always his scripts are weak.

Crimen Ferpecto might be his most commercial and round film, it loses a little bit from his earlier films, but is very worth it.

Of the ones I've seen...

The Baxter is silly fun, though with a very different kind of sense of humor that turned off a lot of people; March of the Penguins looked pretty but had a deadly dull narrative; Munich is stunning, and while it may not be as good as Schindler's List or Saving Private Ryan, it comes surprisingly close; Ong-bak doesn't have much of a plot but has fantastic action scenes, and I can guarantee you that Tony Jaa is the next Bruce Lee; Serenity is just fantastic, and my pick for best movie of 2005; and Syriana is a brilliant, immersive, and disturbing experience.

Yeah, I don't know if I actually care about "March of the Penguins" anymore. I mean, I don't watch the Discovery Channel as it is, so...

Also, thanks for the feedback on the others. I'm seeing "Munich" tomorrow, so we shall see...
