Or, the Year of the C+. Whoopie.

Cloned From:

Damn, "Cursed" is worse than "Alone in the Dark"? Yikes!

Yes, yes it is. "Alone in the Dark" at least has the saving grace of being frickin' hilarious.

Now where in hell did you see Princess Raccoon?

I'm guessing the Asian film fest.

You would be correct! (Ah, the joys of living near New York City...) Only film I'm gonna get a chance to see there, unfortunately... but trust me, if you only got to watch one movie this year, "Princess Raccoon" is the one to pick. It's awe-inspiring in its brazen lunacy.

Lucky sumbitch!

KUNG FU HUSTLE BEST FILM OF THE YEAR.

to me having grizzly man and the devil's rejects in the same group as bad news bears, sin city, and wild parrots is astounding, not that they are in the wrong grade group, but just that they are all equal, it makes no sense to me. two of them are two of my favorite of the year and the other 3 are 3 of the worst I've seen anywhere...

What on earth is worth hating about "The Wild Parrots"? It's way too innocuous to inspire that kind of animosity.

maybe it was because i was on a date and i wasted nearly 20 bucks to see it... i was hoping for at least average... but i didn't like it at all.

What's amazing to me is that Grandpas could still go on dates. Poppin' the blue pills, I imagine? ;-)

haha... i'm 19... but thats a good point

Hey Mr. Cosgrove - take a look at this. Come on! You know you want it remade - admit it - by Mr. "Better Tomorrow."

Hollywood is so intellectually bankrupt.

I heard about this about a month after the original opened in NYC. It seemed like a questionable idea then. Having actually seen it in the interim, it now sounds like an absolutely dismal idea. Think the remake will keep the incest thematics? Doubtful.

Then again, maybe I should actually see "Better Luck Tomorrow" before I slag Hello I Am Asian Filmmaker-Dude Making the Asian-Themed Films for MTV Films Guy.

Or better still, don't bother.

Hey, i loved Better Luck Tomorrow.

Bummer about Flightplan. Even after the reviews I had high hopes. Ah well, I'm still going to try Cursed for Christina Ricci, and I'll likely do the same here for Ms. Foster.

Dude, don't see "Cursed".

No, really. Don't see "Cursed". There's no joke here, no sarcasm, no cutting remarks... just spare yourself. If you must suffer for Ms. Ricci, go for "Prozac Nation" instead -- at least she goes starkers in that.

C'mon man, it scored a whopping 14% at Rotten Tomatoes! Surely 1.4 people out of 10 can't be wrong? And of the "Cream of the Crop" 6% liked it. That's more than half a person out of 10!

A mighty "woo-hoo" to seeing A History of Violence so high! I can't wait for that one.
