  • Spirited Away (2001) - It was so beautiful, so amazing. I really liked that all of the messages were kind of subtle. The polluted river was the best.
  • Fantasia (1940) - Easily my favorite movie. I was bored by it when I was a kid, but I wised up. The Nutcracker Suite is my favorite.
  • Pirates of the Caribbean (2003) - I didn't really get the appeal of him as Legolas, but Orlando Bloom makes a damn sexy pirate. The movie was really long, though, and I'm not exactly sure it had a plot besides constant fighting.
  • The Pianist (2002) - Can I say Polanski is a great artist even though I completely dissapprove of him as a person? I hope so because I liked this movie a lot.
  • Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (1958) - Big Daddy is such an amazing character. I love Big Daddy.
  • The Philadelphia Story (1940) - Sigh... It was so nice, so good. I loved it. It was my first Katherine Hepburn; I will be checking out more.
  • How To Loose A Guy In 10 Days (2003) - Not nearly as bad as I predicted, although it was possibly even more predictable.
  • Death To Smoochy (2002) - I wasn't expecting anything from this movie after all I'd heard about it. I suppose I got a little more than I expected. However, I am not a Robin Williams fan and I cannot think of a role I hated him more in than in this movie. The outtakes at the end were by far more enjoyable than the movie, but I have a soft spot for Jon Stewart (when he is being himself; I think he is a terrible actor).
  • Fast Times At Ridgemont High (1982) - Good choice for an all-night 80s movie marathon with my friends.
  • Dirty Dancing (1987) - Possibly the perfect movie for a teenage girl to watch with friends, aside from Say Anything .
  • Better Off Dead... (1985) - The high school story was predictable, but in an ok teen movie way, but what was with the drawings talking to him? I didn't get it.
  • Chairman of the Board (1998) - I figured that if I was going to post on this site, I should do so honestly. So, embarrassing as this is, I watched a Carrot Top movie on Comedy Central. It was terrible, of course. Really, really horrible. Next time I wake up at 8:00 during summer vacation, I know that I should just go back to sleep!

I applaud your courage and honesty. And I also infer that you have a stomach lined with iron. Congrats on surviving the night. :-)

Thanks!

I will never again watch the 8 am movie on Comedy Central. I learned my lesson the hard way...
From now on, Comedy Central will be used exclusively for the purpose of watching The Daily Show.
