I'm still trying to sort out Noir from Gritty. Gimme a second or 14,000,000. Does 'To Die For' fall in this category?
I too would appreciate a good working definition of Noir regarding films.

I started a new genre in My Content called Diatribes (obviously it defaults as the last item on the page). I started an article on the definition of film noir. I'll update it a few times as I hone in on this. I LOVE the search engine www.vivisimo.com!

I've been a Google man since they launched. Although Vivisimo does rank Listology very high for a search for "movies books music lists recommendations", which makes me happy. Google does not (at least, I didn't find TL in the first 8 pages of results).

Very clever. Once I have themes in place such hacks will be unnecessary (and I'll probably axe them so "www" has a consistent look, and "infomaniac" has a consistent look). But until then, again, a clever hack.
