Amiga 500 was a personal computer with operating system so advanced, it was probably 15 years ahead of its time. Microsoft is just now starting to catch up. Many famous game developers, like "Cinemaware" and "Team 17" were on Amiga. It is so good, that to this day, you could find people who still use it.

All about the Cinemaware stuff...I had The Three Stooges, It Came from the Desert, Defender of the Crown, Rocket Ranger, TV Sports Football AND Basketball.
Oh yes! Those were great games, thanks for refreshing my memory. I'll put Defender of the Crown and TV Sports Basketball on the list. Come to think of it Cinemaware also developed such greats as Wings and "Lord of the Rising Sun". :-) They were very innovative company, not willing to barricade themselves into one gender of games. That's probably why they went bankrupt, despite having incredible talent... I would say that almost every Cinemaware game, was a leading product in its gender for years to come. (some are even today, prime example being "It Came from the Desert")
