- Saving Private Ryan ~ I don't care how much people love this movie I thought it was terrible with only precious few redeeming moments. I'm sorry, but I can't watch an entire movie about a group of men all trying to rescue some guy who turns out to be the most self-centered man on Earth. . So, sorry Private Ryan fans, but this movie just didn't cut it. I'd take Black Hawk Down any day.Spoiler: Highlight to viewThe fact that because he didn't want to abandon his post even after all these guys came to take him home alive, therefore killing EVERY SINGLE PERSON that came to rescue him just blows my mind
- Schindler's List ~ It wasn't awful, like Saving Private Ryan. In fact, it's quite good. But one of the best movies ever made? Not really...it was really long with a lot of useless scenes. In my opinion, if a movie is really long but you don't want to fast-forward through any parts, it's a success. However, there's lot's of this movie I want to fast-forward and it's not because it's disturbing.
- The Godfather Part II ~ Again, a very good movie. I just really prefer Part I. I though the original had a lot more depth to it than this one, and managed to get through it in a decent amount of time. While I admit this movie is excellent, it's just not worth all the hype, just some of it. This could be partially due to the fact that I feel the movie isn't complete without James Caan, so I'll let it slide.
- Amelie ~ Before I begin, I would just like to say that I love weird films. Also, I can't blame not liking this on subtitles because I speak French very well and can, in fact, watch the movie without any subtitles. Nevertheless, it still doesn't deserve all the attention. The color in the film is genious, as is some of the humor. However, the plot is just too jumbled. It's trying to be one of those movies with a random plot that no one cares if it ever really makes sense but, unfortunately for them, I care.
- The Shining ~ Love the book. Sorry. I'm totally bias on this one.

Please don't send me any death threats or whatever. It's just my opinion. And it's not that I hate these movies (with the exception of one), it's just that there are better movies out there.
