just thought it might make you laugh knowing a little about you taste in music

tate

I know you don't like country but you should try the dixie chicks new album, I think it's calles fly. I thought it was quit good.

Tate

lbangs i finally logged on and I will try to get a list for you soon

Hey, Tate, great to see you online! I can't wait to see a list from you!

I do like the Dixie Chicks' Fly (I like there Shouldn't a Told You That even more; a friend played it for me!), but Fly was a 1999 album, not 2000, so it was out of the running for this list.

I know you were joking, I have a great friend and critic who recommended listening to Eminem's latest album, and although I still have my doubts, I'm going to try to give it a shot as soon as I find the chance to hear it.

Speaking of country, the Neko Case album listed above is pretty country. I'm not sure if you would like it, but I love it.

Great to hear from you!

Shalom, y'all!

First, I have to give you a hand for including the often overlooked but intoxicatingly brilliant sound collage artist Amon Tobin. Be sure to check out his previous album, Permutation if you haven't already. Another artist you might like if you dig Tobin's work is St. Germain, who released an LP entitled Tourist about three months ago. So far, I've read nothing but glowing listener reviews.

Thank you. Supermodified is an amazing album, especially considering it constructed entirely from found sounds! I have only heard a smattering of St. Germain; I'll have to explore further.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Shalom, y'all!

I got Primal Scream's new CD the other day, and yeah man, it's amazing. Definitely one of the best albums I've gotten in a while. My favorite track on it right now is Kill All Hippies.

XTRMNTR is an excellent return to form for Primal Scream. I'm thrilled you enjoy it. Kill All Hippies is a great song.

Their earlier album, Screamadelica, is also great.

I notice from your list that you are also a Massive Attack fan. Every heard Tricky's debut? It is another great trip-hop album.

Shalom, y'all!

Bangs, Check out Poe/Haunted and Grandaddy/The Sophtware Slump. Both very excellent...

I'll have to. I caught a few songs off of Grandaddy's disc a week ago. I was very impressed.

I've still only heard a song or two from the Poe.

Shalom, y'all!
