Bollywood

I rented Chalti Chalti. It had that Indian superstar in it. I just could not follow the story. There are so many Bollywood films out there, I thought I would get a taste of them. So far, the taste has not been acquired.
I am open to suggestions for a good one. I am not sure where I heard of this one. I think I heard of the star and looked up a website or something.
Bollywood IS very different from Hollywood (or, for example, European or Japanese cinema). Some of the movies that might be more palatable to you are listed here.
Here are two very good Bollywood films that got me started.
Asoka (2001) (this was the first one I saw, mainly because I like Historical films such as Emperor and the Assassin)
Shakti: The Strength (1982) (a great Bollywood film might even be my favorite)
