I was also wondering if they'd carry "controversial" titles. I have noticed their selection is generally poor, but there does not seem to be a bias against gay movies like I thought. Mambo Italiano was available, which I think of as "My Big Fat Gay Italian Wedding". As is Queer as Folk.

Ok as a BOF, FOD, Whatever, myself I secretly admit most gay movies blow, and not in the good way. But I was afraid they'd pull something like they do with music with warning lables. - ie: edit the song or we will not sell it in the nation's largest market for music. So I think the selection is just generally poor. I have no evidence of bias. But it does remind me of Blockbuster and how the indies suffer, generally. I quit blockbuster here in Lexington, when a local fire and brimstone politician was allowed to launch his "video store with back room eradication campaign" from the grounds of a Blockbuster Store. I marched right over to the independant Movie Warehouse when I saw picketers outside their store. As I understand it, adult titles provide the bulk of profit for a lot of corner mom and pop stores.

I remember back when Netflix carried "Hotel" Porn. They pulled back, and also pulled back on the sexual instruction videos as well. I would think NF could have kept the better sex series, but continued to drop, Voyeur Beach, Thong Patrol, or some such nonsense.
