I am a heart patient. I have been working out at the hospital cardia rehab unit for about 5 months. I am ready to move outside that environment to a commercial gym, and eliminate some of the hassles associated with a small space with poor parking access. But it is not simply about space, money or convience. I need to make sure that my health comes first. I may choose to weight some of the pros and cons to help break the tie below. Some are clearly trivial, while others are not.
I will try to list pros and cons for gyms one and two in a way that will format nice. Score will be coputed with an aribtrary +1 for each pro and -1 for each one.
PRO-ONE +5
CON-ONE -2
Score-one = +3
PRO-TWO +6
CON-TWO -3
Score-two = +3
so it is not easy. I have decided the tie breaker will be the state of the down town location of TWO.
ONE is locally owned PROMATx
and TWO is the reginal franchise of Gold's Gym

I thought I would update this, since it was a process. I visited the down-town location, and it would have never been a decision to make, had it been in the first tour. I liked the downtown location so much, I paid a year in advance, and got the price break mentioned earlier. Since joining, the company dropped the Gold's name and is now known as Urban Active.
