I stopped updating this after the first entry, and then tried to catch up a few months later. After that I stopped watching movies altogether for many months.
(R) = repeat viewing
x - watched multiple times in a short time period
T = seen on the big screen
NotOAR = Pan & Scan (my library is unfortunately fond of fullscreen DVDs)
ETV = edited for TV
w/commentary = watched with commentary (obviously)
+commentary = watched the film alone and again with the commentary, back to back
My Rating System:
***** - Loved it. Worthy of multiple viewings. Might just find its way into my DVD collection one day.
**** - Liked it. Entertaining and enjoyable. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
*** - It was OK. Watchable but not particularly noteworthy. I don't regret watching it, but I won't race to see it again either.
** - Did not like it. Boring, disappointing, or just not my cup of tea.
* - Hated it. Only managed to finish out of sheer willpower. Tedious and/or pathetic, a waste of time.
DNF - Did Not Finish.
