OK I may be a few years behind here but have to have a rant! This list is a total joke and an embarrassment and basically sums of the lack of ambition and creativity in rock and pop.

We have a f#cked up alcoholic, drug abusing average rhythem guitarist in 10th, a below average stoner in 12th who would fail a BTEC in popular music, a guy who admittedly can't solo and hides behind tens of thousands of pounds or effects in 24th - I'm genuinly too scared to even look below the top 25 as I fear Timmy Mallett, Zig and Zag and Aqua may be featured somewhere.

I cannot even start to list the guys they've missed out - Pat Metheny is one of the true Gods of the instrument in any genre, no one who knows anything about the guitar could deny this. George Benson, Stanley Jordan... I'm not going to bother listing over 100 guitarist who should be on this list but aren't.

This list should be called the 100 richest, possibly dead by drug overdose, most interviewed in Rolling Stone... anyway, there's some good players on that list but they are let down by some of the jokes above and below them.

Over and out!

Whens someone gonna grow some balls and not put Jimi Hendrix #1 and wheres Slash hes not the best and didnt give ne thing new to guitar put give credit wheres its due and who the F*** is jack white I mean come on izzy stradlin is better than him and Kurt Cobain #12 is a joke im a huge nirvana fan and it would be pushing it if he was in the top 25 his influence is fenomenal but his skill isnt and john frusciante or w/e heres a news flash Flea is in your band no one gives a crap about u!

Okay, I have a few points to share.

1: Hendrix at the top is obvious and perfect!

2: WTF is Van Halen doing down at 70th?! You all have serious issues!

3: You've forgotten 4 other legends of rock / Herman Li (Dragonforce), Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne), Slash (Guns N' Roses) and Buckethead. You ought to re-do the list, and do it properly ferchristsakes!
