  2. Pretty much loved it, something in it really hit home. The fascinating way of storytelling made it into something a bit more special. Oh, and Zooey Deschanel is just irresistibly gorgeous and adorable. 8.5/10
  3. 300 (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0416449/
  4. Some very awesome scenes, but most of it was somehow slightly embarrassing to watch. I don't know. 6/10
  5. 3-Iron / Empty Houses / Bin-jip (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0423866/ (14.07.2009)

  11. Aragami (2003) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0362417/ (27.12.2010)
  12. Somewhat enjoyable and amusing, sort of strange and expectedly absurd. Especially the soundtrack - so out of place, yet oddly fitting..? Nice on the visual side, loved the purples, greens and tilted camera angles. 6/10
  13. Avatar (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0499549/ (23.04.2010)
  14. Rather good. I'm still not impressed by computer graphics, the unrealisticnessness of it all really bothered me. But, seeing as it's the little things that make me happy, I need to say - I loved the way the dragon-thingies hung off the cliffs. And Trudy was SUCH a kick-ass lady! 7/10
  15. Ballad of Narayama / Narayama-bushi kô (1983) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084390/ (21.05.2010)
  16. This was difficult for me to watch. I was repulsed by it and it was pure agony. But. As soon as it ended and I started thinking back on it, I started finding things that made this movie really, really good. The story itself is incredibly interesting. The characters and acting. The awesome old lady, her strong will and self-sacrifice. 7/10
  17. Battle Royale / Batoru rowaiaru (2000) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266308/ (02.07.2010)

  20. Was alright. 6.5/10
  21. Boy in the Striped Pyjamas, The (2008) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0914798/ (26.12.2009)
  22. A painful story of forbidden friendship. Sad and uncomfortable to watch, but actually not as heartbreaking as I had prepared myself for it to be. Asa Butterfield has amazing eyes. 7/10
  23. Confessions / Kokuhaku (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1590089/ (01.12.2010)
  24. Visually enthralling, great soundtrack, fascinating story, did I mention it was visually enthralling? I wanted to just burn scenes off the screen into my brain. There was a bit too much slo-mo going on and both the beginning and the ending dragged a bit, the end of the story also remained a little unclear to me, though it made it all the more thought-provoking, I suppose. It's a captivating thing. 8.5/10
  25. Control / Kontroll (2003) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0373981/ (09.01.2010)
  26. Fell asleep the first time I watched it, because it was on TV really late at night. Somehow managed to remember, search for and find it a year or two later, and I'm so glad that I did. It's funny, creepy, sad and strange. Completely insane, yet absolutely realistic. 8.5/10
  27. Coraline (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0327597/ (07.06.2010)
  28. One minute into it and the word "Awesome!" escaped my lips. Oddly scary and so much fun. 8/10
  29. Crazy Family, The / Gyakufunsha kazoku (1984) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087377/
  30. What the-? xD 7.5/10
  31. Crows Zero / Kurôzu zero (2007) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1016290/ (08.01.2010)
  32. Very amusing. Really liked the camera work and, well, pretty much everything else about it. 8.5/10
  33. Dark Water (2005) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0382628/
  34. I really like this movie and its gloomy mood. The rain and the greys... And Jennifer Connelly! It still has the sadness of a Japanese movie, but it's executed in a more visually charming way, I suppose. 8/10
  35. Date Night (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1279935/ (13.06.2010)
  36. Wasn't good, wasn't bad either. 5/10
  37. Day After Tomorrow, The (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0319262/ (28.12.2010)
  38. Sort of scary. Until the cartoon wolves showed up. 6/10
  39. Daybreakers (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0433362/ (08.05.2010)
  40. Loved the trailer, had high hopes, but didn't like the movie itself so much. Beautiful colors and lighting, lots of very short visually captivating scenes, but... Meh. Wasn't impressed by the soundtrack either, or, to be more precise, the music simply never caught my attention. I'm just going to watch the trailer over and over again. 6.5/10
  41. Despicable Me (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1323594/ (23.12.2010)
  42. Everyone needs to watch this. (OMG, minions!) 9.5/10
  43. Devil's Rejects, The (2005) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0395584/ (24.09.2010)
  44. Awesomely colorful and pretty interesting, with sweet camera work and music. 7.5/10
  45. District 9 (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1136608/ (06.03.2010)
  46. I was sceptical about this one, but it was so much better than I expected. Fascinating story. Very, very sad. 7.5/10
  47. Dolls (2002) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0330229/
  48. One of my favorites. Three slow and sad love stories. 9.5/10
  49. Fall, The (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460791/ (27.12.2010)
  50. Magical, sad, funny, innocent. And I fell for Roy the second I saw him. The story kind of faded a little in the end, though. 9/10
  51. Garden State (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0333766/ (27.12.2010)
  52. Pretty good. 7/10
  53. Girl by Girl / Sonyeo x sonyeo (2007) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0969338/ (07.10.2010)
  54. Cute and quite enjoyable despite the boring storyline. 5.5/10
  55. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The / Män som hatar kvinnor (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1132620/ (09.04.2010)
  56. Sort of interesting, made me want to watch it again. Though it could just be because the first time I watched it, I was distracted by awesome company. 6.5/10
  57. Gladiator (2000) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0172495/
  58. 7.5/10
  59. Go! (2001) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0299937/ (06.11.2009)
  60. Watch it. 10/10
  61. Hangover, The (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1119646/ (08.05.2010)
  62. Kind of cool, I got pretty attached to the guys by the end. Bradley Cooper is hot and Stu's "What do tigers dream of..." song was so freakin' cute. 5/10
  63. Happy Feet (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0366548/
  64. About a half of it was really fun, cute and clever. The other half was sad, serious and very uncomfortable to watch. Why? 5/10
  65. Happy-Go-Lucky (2008) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1045670/ (27.12.2009)
  66. Had high hopes for some reason, but everything about this movie was obnoxiously annoying. Poppy's outfits were inspiring and cute, but the rest of her got on my nerves so, so bad... 3/10
  67. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0241527/
  68. 8/10
  69. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0295297/
  70. 9/10

  76. 7/10
  77. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0417741/ (26.07.2009)
  78. 5/10
  79. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0926084/ (09.12.2010)
  80. 8/10
  81. Heathers (1988) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097493/
  82. Dark and oozes sarcasm all over the place, just the way I like it. Pitch-black humour at its best. A twisted and interesting little thing, but somehow I always stop about half way through. 7/10
  83. Hercules (1997) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119282/
  84. Fun. 7/10
  85. Holy Water (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1292652/ (03.07.2010)
  86. Aww. xD Sean (Cian Barry) was so adorable. 7.5/10
  87. How to Train Your Dragon (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0892769/ (28.12.2010)
  88. Loved it at first. Then realized it's a terrible movie. People are mean and kill dragons, kids are right and parents are wrong, it's a story with a Godzilla-type monster (something needs to be killed because it's "big and ugly" and just trying to survive)... 4/10
  89. Ikigami (2008) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1194661/ (18.01.2010)
  90. Beautiful. Managed to only cry once, though. 8/10
  91. Illusionist, The (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0443543/
  92. A truly beautiful movie. 8.5/10
  93. Inglourious Basterds (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0361748/
  94. Alright, so it really was pretty much just as awesome as everyone said it would be. Fascinating. I don't think I could ever watch it again, though. 8/10
  95. Into the Mirror / Geoul sokeuro (2003) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0372937/ (02.06.2010)
  96. This, I liked. Less scary than I expected, yet more fascinating and I really grew fond of the main character with his personal struggle. As it usually is with Asian horror movies, the story unfolds to show a very sad background, which is what I love about them. They can still make you jump, but while Western horror usually leaves you paranoid and sleepless, Asian horror tends to end in mystical, yet brighter colors and then make you go, "Aww..." in the end. 8/10
  97. Invention of Lying, The (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1058017/ (17.01.2010)
  98. Interesting movie, didn't expect it to turn so serious. Sort of funny, sort of sad, and a true punch in the face for Christianity. Love Tina Fey, hate Jennifer Garner. 5/10
  99. Jesus Camp (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486358/ (17.12.2009)
  100. This is not okay. 6.5/10
  101. Just My Luck (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0397078/ (23.04.2010)
  102. Was okay for a random rom-com. Nothing great, nothing too disappointing. 5/10
  103. Kamikaze Girls / Shimotsuma monogatari (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0416220/
  104. Fun! 7/10
  105. Kick-Ass (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1250777/ (06.07.2010)
  106. One of my new favorites - the perfect kids' movie for young adults. Excellent music! (OMG, 28 Weeks Later theme!) 9/10
  107. Kingdom of Heaven (2005) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0320661/ (19.07.2010)
  108. Watched it for the second time and King Baldwin is still my favorite character. He's sad and lovable, his voice so kind and oddly familiar... And I just found out he was played by Edward Norton. Well, I'll be damned. 7/10
  109. Lake House, The (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0410297/ (28.01.2010)
  110. Surprisingly complicated for a romantic drama thing. Had to really pay attention to avoid losing all track of events. Not bad at all, though. 7/10
  111. Let the Right One In / Låt den rätte komma in (2008) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1139797/ (17.01.2010)
  112. Something beautiful and ugly and sad and funny and sweet and bloody and simple and genuine and amazing. (But weak compared to the book.) 9/10
  113. Lilly the Witch: The Dragon and the Magic Book / Hexe Lilli: Der Drache und das magische Buch (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1176731/ (24.03.2010)
  114. As an adult, I found it somewhat annoying, but it seemed awesome enough for kids. Even the Estonian dubbing wasn't as horrible as in most cases. 8/10
  115. Lord of the Rings, The: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120737/ (18.07.2010)
  116. Took four attempts to watch this. I really don't know what I'm missing. Mmm, sexy Nazgûl. 6.5/10
  117. Lost Highway (1997) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0116922/ (18.04.2010)
  118. Started out quite scary, ended up being just weird. Twisted and pretty fascinating. And awesome movie deaths are always appreciated. 7.5/10
  119. Love & Pop (1998) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0168972/ (07.07.2010)
  120. Fascinating subject. Strange camera angles took a little while to get used to, but actually added so much to the movie. 7/10
  121. Love Exposure / Ai no mukidashi (2008) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1128075/ (16.09.2009)
  122. WTF?! 8/10
  123. Mean Girls (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0377092/
  124. Best. Chick flick. Ever. I don't think I've ever quoted another movie as much as this one. And I just found out that Tina Fey wrote the screenplay. This explains so much. 9/10
  125. Meet Joe Black (1998) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119643/
  126. Peanut butter. Fake Jamaican accent. Irresistible, innocent, adorable awkwardness. 9/10
  127. Mirrors (2008) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0790686/ (07.06.2010)
  128. Comparing this with its Korean original (Into the Mirror) made it kind of amusing to watch at first. And then it was just scary with no trace of the subtlety and sadness of the original. This has been replaced with gore and throwing stuff in your face, which really isn't a bad thing in Western cinema at all, is it? Was mostly fascinating, and definitely creeped me out. What bothers me, though, is when remakers take an awesome scene that they really like from the original, but leave out or change most of the story. "I love that scene! Let's make an entirely different movie, copy that one scene to a T, and call it a remake." 7/10
  129. Mulan (1998) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120762/
  130. Quite possibly my all time favorite Disney animation. I can't help but love everything about it. 10/10
  131. Mulan II (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0279967/ (15.06.2010)
  132. Ugh, half-assed sequels. I kept waiting for something big to happen, but it never did. 4/10
  133. My Sassy Girl / Yeopgijeogin geunyeo (2001) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0293715/
  134. Incredible. 9.5/10
  135. Nobody Knows / Dare mo shiranai (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0408664/
  136. 8/10
  137. Oldboy (2003) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0364569/
  138. Interesting plot. 7.5/10
  139. One Missed Call / Chakushin ari (2003) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0366292/
  140. There's something about this movie that I love, even though it's somewhat confusing and just weird at times. It made me see and really like the sadness that's so common in Japanese horror movies. And yes, I had the creepy tune as my ringtone for quite a while as well. xD 7.5/10
  141. Orphan (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1148204/ (13.06.2010)
  142. Esther was an annoying and unappreciative little bitch. You know, besides just being crazy. What I did like, however, was Kate and John as a couple. You know, before the whole mess. I'd say this movie was too serious and sad for me. But I did really feel for the characters. 5.5/10
  143. Pan's Labyrinth / El laberinto del fauno (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0457430/
  144. Something amazing. 9.5/10
  145. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0396171/
  146. One of the ugliest and most beautiful things I have seen. 10/10
  147. Precious (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0929632/ (06.03.2010)
  148. Not a pretty movie. Not at all. I guess it was just as depressing as it was meant to be. Yet, as someone pointed out on the IMDb messageboard, "the whole thing became unbelievable, and unsympathetic". 6/10
  149. Push (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0465580/ (18.06.2010)
  150. Quite enjoyable. Liked the setting, the story was okay and the music was good. But I have to admit - what I loved most was Cassie's outfit. 7/10
  151. Quills (2000) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0180073/
  152. 7/10
  153. Ramen Girl, The (2008) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0806165/ (28.12.2009)
  154. A movie that doesn't sound like it's any good, but somehow it is. To me, anyway. I really enjoyed it and it's now my "Christmas movie". A simple, sweet story with Japanese people who are not speaking in American English. xD And Brittany Murphy. 8.5/10
  155. Revolution of Pigs / Sigade revolutsioon (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0410606/ (12.03.2010)
  156. Surprisingly good. Both sad and hilarious. 7.5/10
  157. Road, The (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0898367/ (08.05.2010)
  158. So painful and uncomfortable to watch. Post-apocalyptic sceneries scare all hell out of me and I stopped half way through the movie. Finished it later, though. I'm not quite sure what to think of it. It wasn't pleasant to watch, but that might mean it was just that good..? 7/10
  159. Saw (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387564/ (06.02.2010)
  160. Was good. 7/10
  161. Saw II (2005) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0432348/ (07.02.2010)
  162. This one, too. 7/10
  163. Saw III (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489270/ (07.02.2010)
  164. And it got. 6/10
  165. Saw IV (2007)http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0890870/ (12.02.2010)
  166. More lame. 6/10
  167. Saw V (2008)http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1132626/ (13.02.2010)
  168. With every. 5/10
  169. Saw VI (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1233227/ (13.02.2010)
  170. Following movie. 5/10
  171. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0446029/ (27.12.2010)
  172. Awesome and annoying. Loud and obnoxious. Too much stuff going on visually and sound-wise, but I guess I would like it if I were 14. 6/10
  173. Shutter Island (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1130884/ (14.06.2010)
  174. Very eerie and fascinating. 8.5/10
  175. Sorcerer's Apprentice, The (2010) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0963966/ (28.12.2010)
  176. Better than I expected. Magic, facepalming, and Nicolas Cage shaking a pickle. 7.5/10
  177. Survive Style 5+ (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0430651/
  178. Very colorful and crazy in so many ways. Loved it. 9/10
  179. Swing Girls / Suwingu gâruzu (2004) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0435434/ (13.10.2010)
  180. So cute and funny! 8/10
  181. Tracey Fragments, The (2007) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0801526/ (07.03.2010)
  182. Took three attempts to actually watch this. Interesting ideas and execution, but a torment to watch. Ellen Page is awesome as usual and Slim Twig as Billy Zero is pretty freakin' hot. 5/10
  183. Up (2009) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1049413/ (18.06.2010)
  184. I laughed and I cried, it was dark (a bit too dark at times) and hilarious. But. What started out as something so deeply touching turned into a pointless adventure animation like so many others. 7/10
  185. Violence at Noon / Hakuchû no torima (1966) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060486/ (27.06.2010)
  186. Quite awkward. Interesting plot, though, I suppose. 5/10
  187. Waiting in the Dark / Kurai tokoro de machiawase (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0872007/ (06.11.2009)
  188. Absolutely beautiful. Slow, sweet and quiet, but kept me on edge. 9/10
  189. Waterboys (2001) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0299213/ (04.07.2010)
  190. Haha, awesome movie. And it made me so HAPPY! Strange how I immediately knew I've seen Tsumabuki Satoshi before, when it was just a few seconds in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift". According to IMDb, his role in it was "Exceedingly Handsome Guy". No wonder I remembered him. xD 8/10

  192. Didn't like it at all. Violent, depressing and ugly. But Alexander the goat-headed troll-thing was adorable. 3/10

  198. I can't seem to decide whether it was too weird to be considered cute in any way, or too cute to be considered all that weird. I mean... It was strange. But also amusing. 5/10
