Most redundant old school video game enemies and obstacles (2-D era)

- spores and mushrooms that puff up and shoot in all directions

- fire entities/ elementals that drop fire
- small, mostly non- threatening but indestructible enemies that are just in the way, hanging out where you need to jump
- fish that jump out of the water
- hands that reach up from the ground
- man- eating plants
- falling stalagtites
- rolling/ falling boulders
- trolls/ ogres
- demons that shoot fire
- jellyfish
- werewolves
- dogs/ panthers/ wolves
- erratically running guy
- wizards that teleport or shoot magic at you
- zombies/ ghouls
- generic knights that just walk back and forth
- machine gun guy that fires every 3 seconds or so, regardless of where you are
- moving platforms over waterfalls/ lakes/ lava
- rock men
- floating eyes
- twisted abominations that take up 60% of the screen that you have to shoot in the eye or mouth- if he decides to open it
- rope swings (if I were the bad guys, I'd just put NO rope- just a pit)
- sludge that turns in to a humanoid form
- giant clams
