Best Trance songs of All Time (Top 100?)

- I'm new here and won't waste a lot of words, but I'm just doing this out of boredom/experiment to see if anyone will _read this and reply to this.
- IMPORTANT: I just did this for fun and not out of seriousness, so if your list would look totally different, please do _not take any offense! :)We all got different tastes.
- New suggestions are always welcome (in fact I would really like to see lots and lots of new suggestions!) but there _are a FEW rules first:
- 1. Don't suggest songs already on the list, since that won't add any new content.
- 2. Don't suggest all your songs from the same artist (because it looks odd if half of the top 100 or so is dominated _by one person)
- 3. Make sure what you suggest IS actually Trance music. And I think that's pretty much all I'm looking for. (e.g. if _you still don't know the difference between techno and trance then dont suggest lol)
- So I guess here it goes:
- 1. Dance 2 Trance - We came in Peace (1990 version) [Classic Trance] - not really sure what else to define this as, _since trance was so new that sub-genres were not really defined yet.
- Choosing a number one is always very difficult because there are so many conflicting opinions... However this song is _an old beauty and for me, this is what started it all off, and I am sure I am not alone with that. The song itself is _really catchy too, and since its one of the first Trance songs ever it really does sound very unique from anything _else.
- 2. Rank 1 - Airwave [Progressive Trance(?)]
- This song is exactly how Trance should sound like, lot's of emotions, great uplifting feeling, and unlike a lot of _Trance songs, it doesn't loose this feeling even after many and many listens. I just absolutely love this Track no _matter how many times I've listened to it.
- 3. Push - Strange World (2006 remake) [Progressive Trance]
- Again, an amazing song that you just can't get bored of, great sounds, great baseline, very danceable. There is not _much to say about this song, it's really as good as this song can ever possibly get.
- 4. Sasha - Xpander [Progressive Trance]
- This song was a pretty big hit in Europe. Sasha has won the "Best Techno/Trance 12" award (1999) for the Xpander EP.
- This was not just for the "Xpander" song alone, however there is no doubt that it was the major weighting factor in _that award. But really, the whole Xpander EP is definitely worth cheking out.
- 5. Oliver Lieb - Netherworld [Progressive Trance]
- One of the best productions of Oliver Lieb, quite a few Trance listeners consider him as the best producer. I think _this song will explain why. His 2004 rework is also worth checking out, it adds an interesting new dimension to the _song.
- 6. PPK - Resurrection [Anthem Trance]
- A really amazing Trance band from Russia, a lot of their songs have sounds that deliver your mind away from Earth.. _out into the space.. however, strangely enough Resurrection was based on the melody of the 1979 Soviet film Siberiade.
- 7. Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel (E Werk Club Mix) [Epic Trance]
- One of the best works of Paul Van Dyk, and it is inarguable that almost every Trance fan loves this song to bits. _There is a little use of vocals which just fits perfectly it does not want to control the song however it wouldn't _feel complete without it, the melody is very uplifting sort of similarly to how Airwave's is.
- 8. Plastic Boy - Rise Up [Progressive Trance]
- One of the best melodies I have ever heard. This song just makes me want to reach for all my dreams right then and _right there. It gets better with every listen. An extremely underrated track. It's PURE beauty.
- 9. Robert Miles - Children (Dream Version) [Dream Trance]
- Really pretty much the opposite of the previous song, however it was an Extremely successful that can truly send your _mind into a dream. It has got attention from all over the world, even in mainstream media like Radios and TV channels _such as MTV. It's a true masterpiece that will never be forgotten.
- 10. Ferry Corsten - Out of the Blue [Progressive Trance/Anthem Trance]
- This is THE song that defined the Trance music scene for a long time. It's a true Classic. It does not get boring. _Ever. Every True trance fan loves this song, however it's not really danceable. (Possibly the only "problem" with most _of Ferry's works) The whole Out of the Blue album is worth buying, as it is Truly amazing. I recommend it to everyone.
- A really good remix of this song, is DJ Commie remix, which completely turns this song inside out, it is definitely _worth checking out!
- 11. Push - Universal Nation
- A GREAT song. I am not even sure myself why I rated this so low?? The (Oliver Lieb remix) is a massive remix, _recommend it alongside the original mix.
- 12. The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia (En Motion Remix/Pulser Remix/Bobina Megadrive Mix)
- 13. Zombie Nation - Kernkraft 400 (1999 DJ Gius remix)
- 14. Dj Tiesto - Global Harmony
- 15. Energy 52 - Café del Mar (Oliver Lieb Remix)
- 16. Binary Finary 1998/1999/2000 - these are all the same song with different names. Not sure why.
- (Binary Finary Remix) and (Paul van Dyk Remix) and (Gouryella Remix) are all really nice.
- 17. Cygnus X - The Orange Theme (Rank 1 Remix/Push Remix)
- 18. Solarstone - Seven Cities (V-One's Living Cities Remix)
- 19. Ferry Corsten - Cry(Oliver Lieb Rmx)
- 20. Goldenscan - Sunrise (Tiesto Remix)

- I don't get why this song doesn't come up in lists.. it's so underrated.

- Signum - Addicted (2009)

- O'Callaghan & Kearney - Exactly (2006)

Gonna update it soon, Signum - Addicted was really nice, despite it was made in 2009 lol. But well, I wouldn't want to expect anything less from Signum.
As for some others:
Airbase - Escape.. this track seems like something it can't make up it's mind. So after a little personal edit (e.g the first 40 seconds being cut off completely) and adding some energy into it, it turned out to be decent. However, in it's original form its not too good.
Arksun - Arisen also nice.. but it's another song that seems to be unable to make its mind up.. does it want me to chill? to jump? to wave my hands in the air? or what? This would have been better if the artist made several songs rather then molding many together into one song.
etc. =3 My list as a whole needs some reworking anyway
