- 1. We have forgotten our proud Victorian heritage of not moving between floors to get inanimate objects
- 2. I remember, when I was younger, it seemed like every book ahd a haunted dumbwaiter. So dumbwaiters are apparently a great way to get ghosts in your house, which fuels the plot
- 3. Children get stuck in them. Like on 'Webster". Only these kids die. In books. I mean.
- 4. I dont wanna walk up stairs, or down them, anymore.
- 5. Not since I got these robo-legs
- 6. Dumbwaiters add an air of mystery to mystery novels, cos you never know who or what is hiding in the dumbwaiter.
- 7. You can go fungii in there!!!!
- 8. Which makes novels more exciting
- 9. My house growing up only had one floor, so I always knew, if I had a house with a dumbwaiter, I'd have made it.
