Ankh-Morpork totally counts.
A new one for your list is Un Lun Dun by China Mieville. :) I enjoyed it quite a bit (3 out of 5, overall, I'd say, but there were a few parts I really liked).
It's not an alternate version of London but you can now vote on whether you'd like to see an alternate version of an “Arctic 'sea monster',” the totally awesomely named Predator X.
This Hummer-crusher had “a bite that would make T-Rex look feeble,,, 33,000 lbs (15 tonnes) per square inch bite force.” And you know that's a lot because of the double-'n' and the additional 'e'.
Speaking of voting and getting crushed...
My “Caption This Photo” contest entry is losing, big time. There's never a plesiosaur around when you really need one.
