7:45 A.M. and I just popped in the Tears of the Sun Soundtrack. MMMMmmm Hans Zimmer is so amazing. He really does have a knack for composing masterly soundtracks. His music elevates me to a higher level. Hans Zimmer is the composer of the "Gladiator" soundtrack, in case you need an idea. A little past the halfway point in song number 3 is captivating. Another emotional song is track number 9. Drift away! This song creates high waves for a soundwave surfer such as myself. Track 10 is superb as well. My only complaint is that it could have been a bit longer.

10:00 A.M. I put in Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron Soundtrack, composer is Hans Zimmer, Bryan Adams does vocals. Oh how PRETTY!! I just adore song number 6 which is such a sweet duet with Adams and Sarah McLachlan. Oh my heart strings this song does pull! I think I've had a smile on my face the whole time this CD has been playing. It really makes me feel happy.

2:00 P.M. A change of pace for my post-lunch afternoon. Peter Gabriel's "Shaking the Tree." First song is "Solsbury Hill," brings to mind the preview for the movie "Big Fish." I suppose I've seen the preview too many times because all I see when I hear this song now are scenes from the preview. Well, I guess that isn't a bad thing considering I want to see the movie. Song #2, "I Don't Remember," reminds me of David Bowie for some reason. Since David Bowie is one of my "Heroes," this, too, is not a bad thing. OOOoh!!! "SLEDGEHAMMER!" Get up and BOOGIE! :) "Don't Give Up" is a nice little song with Kate Bush, although it's nothing too inspirational or anything. "Big Time" is a lot of fun because I remember it from the eighties. Well, this CD isn't 100% full of songs I enjoy, but it's nice to have anyway. I listen to CD's all the time so I have to have quite a selection.
