You probably know this already, but please give blood IN A WEEK. Right now the supply is overwhelming, but in a week or two the demand will still be there. So make an appointment now, or mark your calendar. 1-800 GIVE LIFE. Also, you can easily make a donation to the relief effort via Amazon. They have waived their fees; your entire donation will go to Red Cross.

Very wise words Jim, my sister is a nurse who has been spending her free time taking blood and she was telling me to get the word out to as many as possible to give blood but in a staggered manner. The need for blood is always strong.
