Wesley's Woes

I'd like to see Wesley Snipes pull himself out of his tailspin:
Not so long ago, Snipes was known as a "triple threat" -- good in comedy, action and drama. His roles were diverse: a dangerously charismatic drug lord in New Jack City, the endearing bigmouth in White Men Can't Jump, the forbidden lover of Annabella Sciorra in Jungle Fever, the bleached-blond, blue-eyed villain in Demolition Man.

"Not so long ago"? New Jack City (1991), White Men Can't Jump (1992), Jungle Fever (1991), Demolition Man (1993). That's 11 years ago, man.
I would posit that Wesley Snipes barely dipped his big toe in the Olympic-sized pool of his true potential before he started making questionable choices in movie roles.
I guess 11 years is a while, but it certainly feels like yesterday. I guess I'm getting old.
I hope you know the tone of my comment wasn't directed at you Jim. I meant it sort of jokingly.
Oh yes, I knew that, sorry! Should have thrown an exclamation point and a smiley in there (I'll leave it to you to guess where I'da put those two things).
