Here is a terrific article on why music licensing is causing older television shows (including WKRP in Cincinnati) to either get mangled or held from DVD release.
Scattered in the article, however, is a VERY nice tidbit; the first two seasons of Moonlighting, my favorite television series ever, will hit the street in May without a single music replacement! I will have to pre-order today!








I'm still bitter over the Northern Exposure releases which, even if they are overpriced because of the music rights, are shoddy to boot.
