Trailerology: Night at the Museum and Crank

Two trailers today: Night at the Museum and Crank. The former looks like it might be fun. The latter, not so much. But I had to include it because I never would have predicted anyone remaking Speed with Jason Statham playing the bus.

This should be good fun.

I'm pretty excited about this, mostly for Christopher Priest getting a chance at what could be a decent movie. Here's here to more films in this particular genre that are done with a shred of decency.

i hate magicians, i hate hugh jackman, i hate scarlett johanson, and i'm starting to not like mr. nolan.

Wow, when I was reading this comment out of context on the Recent Activity page, I assumed until the very last word that you were talking about Scoop. That's astounding that Hugh Jackman and Scarlett Johansson are in two movies about magicians coming out in the same year.

haha yeah, you have no idea how torn I am about my enthusiasm for scoop, I've never seen a woody allen movie i didn't like, but i can't think of two actors not named sandra bullock that are more annoying than scarlett johansen and hugh jackman.

Paul Walker? Oh, right, you said "actor". Ummmm...

i'm not a fan, but i'd take paul walker over those three any day of the week, he's not horrible.

Hell, it's astounding there are two movies about magicians this year.

crank looks promising to me.

night at the musuem does look like fun at first glance, but I know how these kinds of movies usually turn out and I usually don't like it, i can't even really explain it, i think maybe they end up too fairy-tale-ended for me.
