I was totally psyched to see Andre Braugher in the trailer for The Mist, but then, well... check it out for yourself. Seems an odd thing to do to the best actor in the cast.








I dunno. It seems like a very sensible thing to do for the best actor in the cast.
It is known as the Thomas Jane Reaction.
Formerly called "the Samuel L. Jackson Deep Blue Sea Dismount," it is the method by which a talented African-American actor extracts himself from a horrible movie.

Ha! Good one. Of course, the Jackson dismount was so effective because he was so well known. Braugher SHOULD be so well known, and it's a cryin' shame that he's not, but his dismount simply can't have the same shock value as a result.
