They call it the Top 10 Mano-A-Mano Fight Scenes of All Time, but isn't it really the "Top 10 Mano-A-Mano Fight Scenes of All Time we Could Find on YouTube"? Those are significantly different lists.
i don't think it's a terrible list, but it's missing some great ones, and it included some horrible ones... a matrix fight? c'mon.
numero uno for me will always be the infamous nada vs frank fight scene... so it gets points for including the best of 'em all, but what is surprising is that the Bruce Lee/Kareem abdul jabar fight can be found on youtube and it's still not here.
"Who doesn't like fight scenes?... They epitomize everything it means to be a man..." That's not good.
Troy isn't even Brad Pitt's best fight scene. (Fun Fact: shooting on that scene was delayed due to an unironic injury to Pitt's calcaneal tendon.)
Wouldn't Ash's fight qualify as self-abuse? How is Arthur v. the Black Knight not up there? Or Terminator 2: Judgement Day: T800 v. T-1000, the rescue of John Connor.
Does "mano-a-mano" preclude chica-a-chica? That would rule out "Get away from her, you bitch!"

Not all bias, even YouTubism, is bad... as long as that bias is recognized. Tubist jerks.

I don't feel youtubist. My grandfather was very skeptical about the digital revolution and learning. He said that there would be a dividing line between books that got digitized and those that didn't. He felt those that failed to make the grade would disappear just as surely as if they were burned at Alexandria.
I originally sought out and linked to the Jet Li/Yasuaki Kurata fight from Fist of Legend because I had recalled it as my favorite. But then I watched the climactic fight you linked to and thought, "damn, that's better.". So I went to revise my list, and realized that I had already realized that. Thank you for reminding me of what I used to already know.

Pitt's achilles tendon injury delayed shooting the fight with Eric Bana's Hector... not the "We're fucked" fight from Snatch.
The top fight scene was from Troy?
Yeah, someone needs to redo the list without the YouTube bias.
