Themes on the Chopping Block?
A question for those of you that care about Listology Themes (a feature that allows you to greatly customize the Listology look-and-feel; here's an example): how heartbroken would you be if I axed that feature? I am considering this mainly because the current implementation is quite awkward, mostly in the image management (I allow you to customize the graphics in addition to the layout so you're stuck with green-and-gold everywhere). You'd still be able to access your weblog at you.listology.com, but it would just have the standard look-and-feel.
Why not just leave it alone? Well, I'm planning out my winter coding (seems like it's the only time of the year when I find time to upgrade Listology) and themes are getting in the way, mostly because it's a pain to coordinate the addition of new images with existing themes. It also messes up caching strategies.
If I were to axe the current Themes implementation, they might reappear in the future, but they'd be entirely stylesheet-driven rather than the hodgepodge that does the trick now.
Anyway, your thoughts would be appreciated!

I agree with dgeiser13. In fact, I hadn't realized the themes existed until I saw your example.
Jim, as far as I'm concerned you can get rid of them. I don't dislike them or anything but I've never gotten into using them.
Just thought I'd post a note here for those of you that keep up with Listology via "Recent Posts" rather than the home page. I'm considering putting Listology Themes on the chopping block. Comments welcome!
