Ten Best Canadian Films of 2004

As an antidote to all of the glad-handing the American film industry is going to be getting up to over the next couple of months, the Toronto International Film Festival Group has published it's annual list of the Ten Best Canadian Films of 2004.

Yeah, but this is all fairly relative. It's a scientifically proven fact that nine out of ten Canadian films suck. For ever Cronenberg or Egoyan, there's four or five Lynne Stopkewiches and Jeremy Podeswas.

...and I haven't heard of ANY of them. Jeez, we're talking about our northern neighbor here. It's a wonder how foreign films see distribution in America at all.
