Well, I guess it really does pay to read your free local community arts paper. I just found out today that none other than Bruce Campbell (of Evil Dead 2 fame, amongst others) is going to be in town tomorrow for a local 24-hour horror movie marathon called Nightmare at Studio 35. And it's sold out! These things never sell out. I can now guess why it did. Oh, well. No spur of the moment movie marathons for me. It is intersting, however, to read all of the rules regarding Bruce and his appearance. Has anyone out there in Listology land ever met the man?
Maybe things aren't so bad because I Saw Bruce Campbell !!!.

Right now I'm in College Station, Texas, but my home base is Austin.
Well, no appearances by him in your area lined up in the near future. But you never know what'll happen. I think his book is pretty popular.
What's not to like? Such a funny book, and an unassuming guy.
I think my favorite part may be when the kid named Ash asks Bruce to sign his book.

Man, that does suck. No, I've never met the man. But mny roommate did. Shortly after If Chins Could Kill came out, my friend went to an in-store book signing. He was told that Mr. Campbell couldn't personalize anything, but once the event was over, Bruce was gracious enough to write something for my friend's book and my brother's.
Mr. Campbell is a class act. Anyone else looking forward to Bubba Ho-Tep ?

Yeah, I read a synopsis on Ain't-It-Cool-News (which has absolutely the worst page design). It looks like left-field fun. Maybe the current Elvis mini-craze will help out the film somewhat.
And look at that film lineup! Woe is me.
