On The Subject of Photos
For those of you who have resisted placing a photo on your profile, I highly recommend doing so! It's fun! It's good...and good for you! It's the right thing to do...and a tasty way to do it.:-)
If you already have a digitized picture a couple of tools which might speed your progress are Yahoo's Photo Albums, for archiving a quick loading photo, and a free image viewer like IrfanView, for cropping them down to 100 pixels in width. I highly recommend both.
If you don't have a digitized picture...what are you waiting for. Get down to Kinko's ASAP! Or better yet hit up your friendly neighborhood Listolog and her/his scanner. :-)
I was also curious to know if anyone besides buber or myself had actually posted photos. Could you please add a comment to this list if you have? I sure do 'preciate it.

ok i gave in. can i have an extra star in the Hall of Fame, jim? (jk)
dgeiser1, it seems like your photo is broken...
buber, can you see it now?
Hmmm. I still can't. If I try to view the image directly, it works, but for some reason, on my browser, it appears broken in your profile. I would bet it's my browser, as this SGI has some troubles. I can see buddy's and UncRoger's, but not yours and taryn's....
I have the same problem with Netscape 6. Once I view the images separately and directly, however, they do finally appear on the profile page.
Shalom, y'all!

btw - why on earth doesn't Jim have his photo posted? Where are you Jim? We want to see you!
I prefer to remain an enigma. :-)
I'll try to get one up. But I'm afraid I have lots on my plate right now, and I don't have a scanner, so it's kinda a production. It's on my list though.
I have a photo for me when I was by far my best looking.
Hey dgeiser1! I've noticed only a few people have posted their photos - I did. I also noticed that if you look at the Member directory, there's a little happy face beside the people who have a photo.
I love this feature and would love to see what more of you look like. So far I've been pretty surprised by what I've seen.
buddy, you're supposed to crop the picture not shrink it! :-) thanks for posting BTW
