Shark Tale Tanks Critically, Rakes in $50M

Rotten Tomatoes reports that Shark Tale is the most-panned CGI-animated feature ever, undercutting even Final Fantasy by a hefty margin. That didn't stop it from raking in the dough, though.

As if there wasn't a strong enough case already that movie audiences are stupid.

Or, at the very least, prefer safe & mediocre fare to groundbreaking or brilliant fare.

I'm not sure there's much groundbreaking or brilliant fare out in theaters right now, but I get your point.

Good point, but I meant 'throughout the year' not 'this very moment.' It's slim pickens out there right now.
