Netflix Profiles

This might be old news but I noticed this morning that Netflix has rolled out the use of "profiles" on their web site. If your current queue is shared by multiple people at your postal address you can assign each person their own queue so you don't have to jockey for position at the top of queue. So today my wife gets her own 1 Out At A Time queue. I'm very sure she will be pleased with this as films like Shaun of the Dead and I, Robot keep showing up at home while she patiently waits for the titles that she wants to see.

As a side note, if you use Listology's Netflix Tracker of Netflix Queue Import be wary of the new profiles. It appears that when you switch to a new profile you are issued a new NetflixShopperID and if you switch back to your default profile you do not get the same NetflixShopperID as before.
Nothing like some good stiff competition to get them into gear. :-)
Ain't competition great?
I remember about 5 years ago when a gas was almost always just under a $1 a gallon because we had 9 gas stations in a small town like Cambridge, MN.
