M. Scott Peck

The man who began his career assuring us, "Life is difficult," has died.

Oddly enough, I picked up a copy of The Road Less Traveled two weeks ago or so...

Unbelievable. May his soul rest in peace. Amen.

The Road Less Travelled still remains by far the most simple, lucid, and sensible psychology and life-guide book ever written. It is relevant to even teenager, esp. more to teenagers like me. I am yet to come across a more path lightening book (except maybe The Gita ) than the trilogy.
Scott Peck's death is a big blow to all humanity.

I am enjoying the book so far. At times, it gets a bit 'mushy'(?) for my taste, but other portions are excellent, nearly perfect, in fact.

Shalom, y'all!

I don't understand 'mushy' in reference to the book...sorry!
The trick to enjoy the book is to keeo in mind the time frame in which the book was written, and also not to get too much psychoanalytical of others (believe me when I say this, it can drive you crazy). I am really glad someone else (esp. you) liked the book too :-).
