Are you into any or all of these literary genres: science fiction, fantasy, horror? If yes, you can now consult the Internet Speculative Fiction Database. They aren't fully up to speed yet, but knowing how fanatical the fans are (of sf, especially) I'm sure they'll eventually do for these genres what the IMDb has done for movies.
