I finally saw The Matrix, and I liked it. Among our list makers, the reviews are overwhelmingly positive (with a few dissenters). One thing that bugs me: why did they need a land line to escape? Anybody have a logical explanation, or was it just a plot device to make for some cool chase scenes?
Of course, there's this Mr. Cranky review that humorously sums up some of the bad points. Before getting offended, keep in mind that he gave it one bomb, which means he actually thought it was good.
