Apparently Zhang Yimou's Hero just played in the US at the Palm Springs Film Festival. Someone saw it and wrote up a small, non-spoiler laden review on Ain't It Cool News. At 95 minutes it doesn't sound like Miramax will have anything to cut.

Yes and no. Not just you. I know there's probably 1/2 dozen people on here who would enjoy this news.
