Evernote Revisited
I recently gave Evernote a look, and the more I use it the more I like it. Let me give you a concrete example of how easy it makes tracking things like movies to watch or books to read. Check out this screenshot. It is a snippet of a Listology conversation stored to EverNote. I grabbed it because it made me want to check out the books mentioned therein. All I had to do to capture that is highlight that portion of the conversation in my browser, right-click, and pick "Add to Evernote". The capture of the text, formatting, and the backreference to the original URL (i.e. that "go to source" link) are all automatic. Now the next time I go looking for something to read, I won't only have the title, I'll also remember the context of how it ended up in my "to read" list in the first place.

Fine, you convinced me to try it. You might link to the Firefox extension.
You've done it for me, thanks!
I hope you like it! It's been a gradual adoption for me, but the longer I stick with it, the more I like it.
Seen this?
Yup, just saw that yesterday. We must be reading the same blogs! I'll probably stick with EverNote, unless they price it way out of my range when they get out of beta.
Have you seen Livepad at seeplain.com - a single application to hold all your information.
