Holy crap! The Fall came in at No. 6. Never thought I'd see that on CNN.com.
I was also surprised to find that terrific disc in there.
All in all, the writers did a rather good job. They even included the correct Berry (The Great Twenty-Eight) and Who (Meaty Beaty) comps, despite the fact they are both out of print in the USA.

Kinda odd that their Buzzcocks choice is not the brilliant Singles Going Steady though. Has anyone heard Operators Manual?
That was one of the first oddities that leaped out me as well!
I have not heard Manual, but I do know it shares many of its tracks with Singles, adding some tunes from the later albums as well.
Glancing at the track list, I think I would've stuck with Singles...
