After this discussion I started thinking about how much I enjoyed Four Weddings and a Funeral. That reminded me that somebody somewhere sometime recommended The Tall Guy to me, which I think was written by the same guy. In preparing to ask if The Tall Guy was any good, I did a quick Listology search for it and 4WaaF, and I came up empty (I just added it to one of my own lists, so that doesn't count)! How is that possible? Is there a bug in my search engine, or is 4WaaF really unlisted? And while I have your attention, was The Tall Guy any good?
