I know at least one Listologist wasn't too happy with 2003 cinematically. Just a bump in the road, or a downward trend for the decade? This list gives me some hope for the former.
Keeping in mind AAA's disappointment with 2003, I thought it was rather amusing that Uncut's top 10 movies of 2003 contained only 3 movies that I would consider to be 2003 releases.
But you're right, that list did give me hope for 2004. I'm also excited for Spielberg's The Terminal. I think Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow might be good as well. And I must admit that I'm even considering seeing the Adam Sandler movie "50 First Dates."

After watching the trailer, I have quite a bit of hope in Sky Captain. We'll see...
Shalom, y'all!
